If you have been referred by a practitioner or doctor, we may contact them to inform them that you are undertaking Hyperbaric Oxygen at Amber Oxygen.
If you have not been referred by a practitioner or doctor, we may request a letter from your GP or doctor to consent to you undertaking Hyperbaric Oxygen.
The decision to undertake Hyperbaric Oxygen is entirely yours and you take full responsibility for any repercussions or side effects. does not provide medical advice, or recommendations or make any claims regarding the benefits or efficacy of Hyperbaric Oxygen. Any information provided is from third-party studies and is for information only. Please seek formal medical advice if you have any queries regarding the use of Hyperbaric Oxygen and its suitability for you. Hyperbaric oxygen is not a replacement/substitute for conventional treatment or conventional cancer treatment. We do not take any responsibility for the development/progression of cancer or other chronic diseases.
Amber Oxygen, its members of staff or any other related parties undertake no liability for your use of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber.
The Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber may not be suitable for people who suffer from claustrophobia or those who are uncomfortable in confined spaces.
Electronic equipment e.g., smartphones or iPads are taken into the chamber at your own risk. Amber Oxygen reserve the right to refuse treatment for any reason. Amber Oxygen operates a 72 hours cancellation policy. Bookings cancelled less than 72 hours before the appointment will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
For the best results, a full course of Hyperbaric Oxygen is necessary.
You will be given a full consultation and opportunities to pose any queries regarding Hyperbaric Oxygen prior to the treatment.
You must follow the instructions of the chamber technician and inform them of any health concerns before and during the treatment.
Should you arrive late for your session, time may be deducted to prevent the backlog of following appointments.
Payment Terms and Conditions:
Hyperbaric Oxygen is only purchasable in accordance with the packages advertised on our website and at our clinic.
The price for such packages and individual sessions is set out in the price list accessible on our website or at our clinic.
If you prefer, you can pay for each session individually on the day of treatment at the single session price of €250.
All sessions require pre-booking and can only be refunded if cancelled 72 hours before the treatment. If you are unable to inform us more than 72 hours prior, we cannot guarantee a full refund.
Completing a session no longer entitles you to a refund for the price of that individual session or any prior completed sessions. If you feel as though your sessions were not adequate, please inform a member of staff.
Sessions, including packages, must be paid for in advance prior to the first session of the treatment.
Subject to the below, packages are non-transferable and non-refundable and if you decide not to proceed with your course of treatment, you will not be able to claim a refund for any sessions remaining in your package which have not been used.
If something in your medical condition changes, Amber Oxygen may need to postpone your treatment. In such circumstances, you shall be entitled to postpone any sessions remaining in your package until you are able to undergo treatment.
If we have to cancel any of your sessions and cannot offer you another session at a time that suits you, you are entitled to a full refund in respect of that session.
Packages need to be used in full within 12 months from the purchase date.
You can change the time and/or date of your appointments (subject to availability) upon giving Amber Oxygen at least 72 hours’ notice of such change.
Cooling-off Period
When you purchase a package from our website, in most cases, you will have the right to cancel the package within 14 days (the cooling-off period) because you have changed your mind. If you rely on these cancellation rights to cancel the package during the cooling-off period, you do not have to provide us with any reason for cancelling.
You have up to 14 days from the date of your order to cancel your package, provided you have yet to attend any sessions in your package prior to the expiry of your 14-day cooling-off period.
If you want to cancel your package during the cooling-off period, you should let us know by contacting us and including your name, email address, address and order details providing a clear statement that you want to cancel. We will provide you with a refund for the package. We will provide you with a refund within 14 days of the day after you let us know that you want to cancel the contract.
General Terms and Conditions
Preparing for your Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
One of our main objectives is to inform you of what to expect during your sessions with us. Prior to any session, you will be taken through an orientation. The purpose of this orientation is to answer any questions you may have.
Personal Items
For your safety and the safety of those around the chambers, only items approved by our technical team can be taken into the chamber with you.
Amber Oxygen and its staff members are not responsible for the loss of any of your personal belongings.
Clothing
We advise loose-fitting cotton clothing and avoid cosmetics, perfumes, hair sprays, deodorants and jewellery. Shoes must be removed, and socks must be worn inside the chamber.
Food and drink
No food/eating is allowed in the chamber.
It is strongly recommended that you are well-hydrated with water throughout the day. To obtain full benefit from your session(s), it is recommended that you avoid food and beverages that contain caffeine. Consumptions of coffee, tea and caffeinated drinks should be kept to a minimum during the time you are receiving a session as caffeine constricts blood vessels. Also, alcoholic beverages should be avoided before treatments because of alcohol’s diuretic effect.
Smoking
Nicotine greatly compromises the effectiveness of your session(s) and increase the risk of seizures. It constricts blood vessels which decreases blood flow to bone and tissue areas, thus slowing down the healing process. Every attempt should be made to quit or temporarily stop smoking. If you must smoke, please do so as long before your session and as late after your session as possible.
Scheduling
Every attempt will be made to plan your session(s) so that they fit your schedule. Once you have reserved your time slot, we try to keep it reserved for you for the duration of your sessions. If you are late, you are unable to come in, or we have an emergency client, we may assign your time slot to another client. Keep in mind that generally time slots are on a first come first serve basis.
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment in order to prepare for your session. Our daily session schedule runs smoothly if clients arrive on time. All appointments will start on time with no exceptions. If you are late, this time will be deducted from the remainder of your allocated session.
